We gathered together as normal and kicked off with a time of sharing Tests & Testimonies, which is always a beautiful thing.

This led to a time of worship and praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

We then had a talk on Courage which unpacked each of the following:

Be Courageous – So when it’s tough look to Jesus for courage & step out even if you are afraid, Jesus understands and He will be with you. 

Becoming who we follow – We become a reflection of Jesus and a good example to the world. So, let’s live the Jesus way as He is our ultimate example of courage, integrity and purpose, because that is the key to effective living.

Storms – When we are doing life the way it is meant to be done, Jesus will never let us go under….

Shaken & Shaped -God uses all things to bring us closer to Him, especially the tough times

Eyes Front – Remember we are called to look forward not back to look up not down, always keeping our eyes on Jesus

Help – So the next time you have been in a storm to long, read Psalm 121. Then just like the psalmists reach out to Jesus, admit you need help and ask for it

Being Still & Victorious – The enemy is the father of fear so, if being still in Jesus presence is a weapon against it.  

You can Do It – To prevail, all we need to do is know where to draw our strength and to quiet our hearts to hear the whisper of Jesus within us

Jesus is Praying – Yes Jesus is praying you and me right now

Thank you, Jesus, for another great night at Hope Central, You will build Your church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it…
