We gathered as normal with around eighteen in total. It was one of our members birthday, so kindly he bought pizzas for everyone to share and someone else made cakes to celebrate, it is so encouraging watching our family grow [Acts 2:46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. v42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship]
As usual we shared our Testimonies and Tests which is always a beautiful time of honesty and vulnerability. This was followed by a time of worship before we handed over to Regina & Caty to continue with the second part of their talk on Identity
Session two was more of a bible study about the transformation in identity that people can have when they give their lives to Jesus. One of the biggest transformations in identity is Saul. He went from persecuting Christians, certain that he was right in his hatred of them, to this man who was so on fire for Jesus that he said he would rather spend an eternity in hell if it meant that no one else would be separated from God for all eternity. We looked at the process and the obedience of Paul. How he dedicated some time apart, really pressing into God and knowing him and his heart before his real ministry could begin. We looked at Paul before his encounter on the road to Damascus, after his encounter and the example that he sets for all of us who follow Jesus today. We ended this session remembering what God says about us in the bible by listening to the Father’s Love Letter. With a copy of the Love Letter being given to everyone to take home with them as a reminder and encouragement to seek their identity in Christ alone.
Again, we Thank you, Jesus, for another great night, You will build Your church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it…
Thank you Taste & See for your continuing prayer support it is vital
A Scripture from a member of Taste & See – Psalm 103:17-22
But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
Can you hear those dry bones RATLING….
