Tonight was simply beautiful. Colin and Mandy have been away so Hannah and Regina opened Hope Central. A small group gathered – around 10-12 of us and Jesus came to meet us in such a powerful and truly beautiful way. 

To start we shared a picture that Hannah had had while we prayed together as a team at the start. The picture was of a tree planted by the water and it felt linked to Psalm 1 verses 1-3. This felt like the purpose of meeting tonight – to re-establish or deepen our roots in Jesus. The purpose being that we push into time with him, into relationship with him and that naturally flows out of us to others rather than us trying to love others well by ourselves. God is saying that we need to bear fruit in his strength, not try and do it from our own. 

We prayed over this picture and then went into a short worship time followed by testimonies. 

Tonight we pushed into soaking time together as a group for the first time. We shared about soaking being an opportunity to take the focus off ourselves and to put it on to Jesus – to let him bring his agenda to us rather than us taking our agenda to him. We soaked for 30 minutes and when the time was up everyone wanted to continue so we soaked for another 15 minutes! It was truly beautiful to see the community engaging in this way and to see God meeting us in it. 

After our 45 minutes we regrouped and shared how we had felt God speaking over us individually and as Hope Central. We had so many pictures and words from God which all connected and overlapped between us. 

Thank you for your continued prayers over us as team and our community. Please pray that God would continue to come and meet every member of Hope Central everyday and that we would see an increase in words, pictures and dreams as he begins to speak to everyone in their unique way.
