Hope Central wasn’t on this week as we had a Team meeting but many of the community gathered at Nando’s to socialise and be together, which is good indication that our community is bonding.

So why this post…. Well, some of us gathered at St Mary’s on Tuesday this week, to stand together in prayer and worship to battle against the Enemy. Who is causing all sorts of issues within the Leadership & Body of the church both corporately and nationally.

Ephesian’s 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places

Hope Central has also partook in this struggle, we launch our 18-30 community in September 2022 the attacks started the month before in August and we have been under a barrage of them ever since. We have faced: personal health issues; family health issues; team health issues; accidents to older family members; financial issues; false accusations; family disputes and the unexpected death of a team member.

It seems every month there is something happening.

Here are some recent examples in relation to one of our Team members, on Christmas Day 2023 as all our family had gathered together and had finished their Christmas dinner, my father suddenly had sickness and diarrhoea and was later ambulances to hospital, a few days later my son’s girlfriend was rushed to A&E with a Crohn’s flair up, my elderly Aunt has had three falls in the last two months, at the beginning of January 2024 my elderly dad fell down his stairs, broke his neck, shoulder & pelvis, my hernia operation was cancelled as they saw something on my ESG and I am now booked to having PET scan and disruption started within Hope central. All this since Christmas Day & this is fairly typical. 

So please keep PRAYING and know that your prayers are powerful and effective. As without them I am sure we would have all thrown in the towel by now, but each time we considered it we seem to have the strength to carry on. THANK YOU

So we continue to Submit ourselves, to God. Resisting the devil, and knowing he will flee from us. 

With the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit we fight. Standing firm, with the belt of truth buckled around our waists with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

We Keep pressing on, as we know victory isn’t far away 🙌
