During our team prayer and fasting day on Saturday 3rd Feb, the Holy Spirit revealed to us that we need to be more intentional when we worship at Hope Central. So we did things a little differently this week. 

We started with prayer and then moved onto a time sharing our test and testimonies, which was so encouraging. 

Then in stead of moving to a time of worship we did a talk called “A Prayer for Hope Central” based on Ephesians 3:14-21 . As part of this talk the whole team shared their thoughts on praise & worship. We shared our heart for Hope Central to become a more passionate worshipful community and preached that for this to happen we all need to be more intentional with our posture when it comes to our times of praise. We went through Paul’s Prayer for the Ephesians ending on this acronym for Hope Central – “PASSION”

P – Posture

A – Acknowledge 

S – Strengthen

S – Spiritual Gifts

 I – Inner being transformed

O – Outworking, receive super natural power

N – Now advance the kingdom of God 

Then in response we asked everyone to stand posture themselves. This lead to a powerful time of worship where there was a noticeable shift in the community’s involvement.

We then ended in a time of prayer ministry
