Tonight, at Hope Central we had a newcomer join us which is always exciting. We had lots of testimonies shared tonight that were very encouraging, the community are getting bolder at sharing both tests and testimonies. We spoke about being salt and light in the world and how important it is to be like Jesus as people will see that in us, especially in this dark world we live in. We need to shine for Jesus. So are we living in the right way and showing that in our actions in our everyday life.

We then entered into a time of worship and allowed the Holy Spirit to move. Tonight, the talk was about Anxiety and we looked into the scripture Philippians 4 v 4-7. We spoke on what we thought Paul meant in these verses and that anxiety does not always go away just like that. We need to find ways that help us whilst we are dealing with our anxiety. We then ended in prayer.

Romans 6:1-4

What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? ² By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? ³ Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? ⁴ We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
