24/05/23 “Faith”

Our very own Matt White lead worship & gave his testimony at Hope Central this week. As always we had a time of sharing at the beginning which is always good & Mandy shared about Gods supernatural peace and that if we are willing to allow His Holy Spirit to flow through us it may start as a trickle but will soon become a flood –

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid

Matt then lead us in a great time of worship which was Holy Spirit filled and spontaneous. He also had sense of Jesus calling people from whatever place they were at, into a comforting place like home, there was also another word about traveling to a destination which tide in nicely.

Matt then gave his testimony which was an open and honest account of his life to date. This lead to a time of discussion with a number of questions being raised which Matt answered with reference to scripture. We then closed in prayer and some people received ministry.

It was encouraging to hear that one of our community member’s said

“I gets so excited about coming to Hope Central and that it is the highlight of my week”.

We are now closed for half term week. Also Mandy and I are away on holiday until 14th June so there won’t be any posts until we return

This weeks scripture from a member of Taste and See Matthew 18:10-14

The Parable of the Wandering Sheep

10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish
