We had 2 new people turn up at Hope Central tonight, it was so encouraging to see how the newcomers are welcomed in by the rest of the community and how we are seeing friendships forming over the last six months. It was nice to see a good number there tonight especially it being Easter week, as we thought people could be away for on holiday.

As we worshipped we really felt the Holy Spirit move and its so lovely to see how the community engages with worship.

Tonight we looked at “How great God Is” as we watched the video about creation and the universe, what got people’s attention was Laminin which is a protein found in our body made up of molecules that is in the shape of a cross, it is what holds up all the other parts of our body around it, like the glue. It was good to see people’s reactions and then to ask questions after and get their feedback on the video.

“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. You have set your glory in the heavens. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them”

Overall a blessed evening and thanks be to God.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
